London 1888. While Jack the Riper was terrorizing the streets of London, the actor Richard Mansfield was horrifying the audience of Lyceum Theatre with his performance of Dr Jekill and Mr Hyde. Because of his disturbing metamorphosis on stage, Mr. Mansfield was indicted as unsub of the Whitechapel murders, so he decided to set up a play for the reformed prostitutes in order to prove his innocence and honesty.
