ITA Shatila è un campo profughi palestinese di Beirut dove vivono, in un chilometro quadrato, oltre ventimila persone cui la legge libanese nega il diritto a svolgere lavori qualificati. In questo contesto alcune adolescenti si sono riunite in una squadra di basket, affrontando il tabù dell’emancipazione femminile e lottando per poter competere nei tornei ufficiali. ~~~~ ENG Shatila is a Palestinian refugee camp in Beirut where over twenty thousand people live in one square kilometer and the Lebanese law doesn’t allow them to carry out skilled jobs. In this context, some teenage girls gathered in a basketball team, facing the taboo of women's emancipation and fighting to be able to compete in official tournaments.
